The 2002 event took place June 27th and 28th. As in years past various company representatives were on hand to show off new products and answer questions. Red Diamond would like to thank the following vendors for their participation: Thorogood, ASP -Armament Systems and Procedures, Bianchi International, Propper International, Spiewak Jacket, Don Hume, Fobus Holster, Magnum Hi-Tec, Paulson, Pelican, Perfect Fit, Uncle Mikes, and 3rd Watch. 2002 Event

Lt. Robin Lees of the Youngstown Police Dept. checks out the Bau Wouf .50 Cal. demonstrated by Rep Russ Fuellner. Russ also represented Bianchi International at the event.
Tom Heinz of the Austintown Police District had his name drawn and claims his Pelican M9 Rechargeable flashlight donated by Pelican. The light was one of over 85 door prizes given away. The first 150 folks through the door received a free spiffy Magnum Boot ball cap and pen compliments of the folks at Magnum Hi-tec and their factory rep Jane IHler.
A portion of our Internet Office pulled duty as the "free food" area, with many a hot dog and sausage sandwich being cooked up on the rotisserie.
DARE Officer Jeff Toth "dared" to ponder some of the 560 pairs of boots on hand for the show from five footwear companies. Some of the Thorogood boots pictured were door prizes won at the event by lucky winners.
Some of the Red Diamond sales staff had to eat their hot dogs on the run, but a good time was had by all.

Past Customer Appreciation Days

2001 Event

The 2001 show was a big success with a good turn out of more than 350 public safety professionals attending, plus more than 100 internet customers participating.  We would like to thank the representatives from Second Chance, ASP Baton, Magnum Hi-Tec, Thorogood, Uncle Mike's, Smith & Wesson, Metal Tec, and Pelican who took time to attend and display their products while fielding questions.

We would also like to thank those vendors contributing door prizes this year: ASP, Bianchi, Damascus Glove, Don Hume Leathergoods, Elbeco, Fobus Holster, Magnum Hi-Tec, Michaels of Oregon (Uncle Mike's), Original Swat Footwear, Pelican, Posse, Second Chance, Smith & Wesson, Spiewak Jacket, Thorogood Footwear,  Zak Tool and others! We gave away more than $2500.00 in total prizes this year. Customers took advantage of more than $$5000.00 in special show discounts.

2000 Event

In early July, 2000, we held a combination Grand Opening and 1 Year Anniversary event at Red Diamond. Although we opened in March 1999, due to rapid and continued expansion and then moving to a larger location, and expanding again, we never held a Grand Opening.

The event was attended by more than 200 police, fire, EMS and heath care professionals. Thanks to many of our vendors, more than $1000.00 were given away during this event.

Below are some pictures of our new addition and our celebration event. Thanks to all of our customers who have contributed to our growth.

Thanks!
