Red Diamond Automatic Knife Form

In compliance with Federal Law, we can only sell automatic knifes if the following conditions are met. Read carefully all of the conditions set forth below. Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with certain exceptions. We sell only to authorized law enforcement officers or to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National guard, or militia of a state, territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities of such organization; To civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government; To supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory, 

We must have proof of your status that conforms to the above conditions before we can ship automatic knives. Proof would include the order being on departmental letterhead and a photocopied picture ID showing your status with the organization. Also you must sign our statement which states that the knives are being purchased pursuant to the above conditions for use while employed by a law enforcement officer of a federal, state, or local municipality and signed by the purchaser. This form must be included.  By placing an order, the buyer represents that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that the he/she is of legal age and dutifully employed or authorized to purchase these knifes. By signing the form below you release Red Diamond Uniform & Police Supply, Inc. of any liability regarding your actions concerning the use, sale, ownership and shipping of any automatic knives sold by us. Falsification of this information is a federal offense.

Federal Regulations:  18 USC 1716 (g)(2)(1-4) provides this summary: Switchblade knives can be shipped to civilian and Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal government ordering or procuring or purchasing such knives in connection with activities in the Federal government;  supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or the militia of a state, territory, or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such organizations; to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any state or territory, or any county, city, or other political subdivision of a state or territory; to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person aforementioned. 

It is the policy of Red Diamond Uniform & Police Supply Inc. to refer to Federal authorities any attempted purchase by falsification of information.
